Online Order Returns
For online returns, orders must be received back in the warehouse within 60 days of the purchase date. Items should be in new, unworn condition. The items will be inspected for their original condition once received. It takes 7-10 business days for the refund to be issued back to the original method of payment used once received at the warehouse. You will be notified via email once the return has been processed, and $6 will automatically be deducted from your refund amount for the label.
Q: How do I return my order?
A: Columbia Sportswear customers can now initiate a return by printing off a return label and shipping the item(s) back to us using UPS. To start your return initiation, click here.
Q: How do I print my return label?
A: Once you have selected the item(s) you would like to return, you will be emailed a UPS return label and invoice to include in your return package as a PDF. Simply print off the PDF attached to this email, seal the invoice inside the package, and stick the label on the outside. Lastly, take it to any UPS drop-off location to send it back. Q: How much does it cost to return my order?
A: Our $6.00 flat rate UPS shipping fee will be automatically deducted from your refund instead of paying a rate upfront to the shipping carrier.
* APO/FPO or Puerto Rico customers must use their own return label. Shipping fee will vary.
Q: How long do I have to return my order?
A: Our warehouse needs to receive and process your return within 60 days** from the original purchase date to issue a refund back to your original form of payment.
- Please note, if you used Loyalty rewards or a Gift Card on your original purchase, a new Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued and emailed to you upon completion of your return.

A: We have an easy return and reorder process which means you would return the original item(s) within 60 days** for a refund to the original form of payment and then you would reorder the correct item(s) to be sent to you. Q: Why do you not offer an exchange process?
A: Since our available stock changes every day, we cannot guarantee that your item(s) will still be in stock by the time a reorder is placed.

Q: My item(s) arrived damaged, how can I return this?
A: Oh no! We apologize for this inconvenience. If the order was purchased on our website within 30 days, please contact us. Our contact information is at the bottom of this page.
If the purchase is over 30 days old, please reach out to our warranty department for your options. Click here to access our warranty page.
Q: How long does it take for my return to be processed?
A: Typically it can take about 7-10 business days for the entire return process to be complete.
Q: How can I track my return?

Q: Can I return the order I received as a gift to you?
A: Yes. Orders placed and sent as a gift to someone can be returned the same way as any other order. At this time, credit from that return can only be returned to the purchaser's method of payment used in the order. We do not currently have the option to offer merchandise credit to the gift receiver.
Q: Can I return my order to a Columbia Sportswear store?
A: Yes! You are more than welcome to return your online order at one of our branded Columbia Sportswear stores. Please click here to see our store locator.
Please make sure you save your Order Confirmation email to present in store.
That being said the following order types are not accepted as an in-store returns:
- Orders purchased with Paypal, Klarna, or Apple Pay
- Fans & Followers Orders
- Professional Purchase Orders
- Partner Purchase Orders
If you purchased with Paypal, Klarna, Apple Pay, or with an additional discount listed (Fans & Followers, Pro purchase, Partner), you will need to return your items to our distribution centers directly.
